Center for American Politics and Citizenship (CAPC) Internship Programs!

The Center for American Politics and Citizenship (CAPC) recognizes that it is important to reach out to both the leaders of today and the leaders of tomorrow. Through their educational programs, CAPC educates undergraduate and graduate students about politics and citizenship and informs citizens and political decision-makers about critical issues related to campaigns, elections, and other policy areas.

They are currently offering three internship programs:

The Capitol Hill Internship Program (CHIP) is an experiential course that combines a weekly seminar and regular classroom assignments with the opportunity to participate in the workings of Congress. Open to GVPT majors ONLY. Deadline to apply is November 18th!

The Public Policy Internship Program is designed to integrate experiential learning in state and local governments, nongovernmental organizations (NGOs), and private political groups, with a theoretical understanding of the public policy process.
