Course Title: Offender Decision Making and Changing Sanctions: Northern Ireland as a Case Study
Prerequisites: CCJS 100 and CCJS 105

CCJS is offering its first ever short-term summer abroad course taught by CCJS faculty members! Students will visit Dublin (Ireland), Belfast (Northern Ireland) and Derry (Northern Ireland) from July 23-August 5, 2012. This course will focus on how offenders make decisions about whether or not to engage in political violence, different strategies of police/government strategies and sanctions, as well as how and why policies affect offender decision-making.
