What Do You Think About 'Office Hours'? Let Us Know!

The Graduate Lilly Fellows at University of Maryland’s Center for Teaching Excellence (CTE) seek your assistance in completing an online survey which is available to undergraduates campus-wide. This year, the CTE Graduate Lilly Fellows are researching undergraduate student perceptions of the role, purpose and nature of office hours. In short – we want to know if and how often you attend office hours, why you do or do not attend office hours and whether or not you find these sessions valuable.

We hope to gain a diversity of disciplinary perspectives representing all UMD undergraduate students. The survey should not take more than ten minutes to complete and will be of great use to our research project. The survey will not ask for any identifying information; however, we will be asking for certain demographics (age, gender, class level, etc.). You may choose to skip these questions; however, it is also important to note that all responses will be confidential. We look forward to sharing research results with the University of Maryland community in hopes to better understand the current nature of our University’s office

If you have any questions you can directly contact our research group at ctegradlilly2013@umd.edu
