This groundbreaking interactive course provides an in-depth understanding of this conflict using simulations exploring contending historical perspectives and the search for common ground. Topics include the fate of Jerusalem, the problems associated with refugees, settlements, water rights, border disagreements and security concerns.
Prof. Manuel Hassassian a resident of the West Bank, has been the Executive Vice-President of the Bethlehem University and currently the ambassador of the Palestinian Authority in the United Kingdom.
Prof. Edy Kaufman is a Senior Fellow and former Director of the Center for International Development and Conflict Management at UMD, and is the former director of the Harry S. Truman Institute for the Advancement of Peace at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
