DSAC Presents: Brown Bag Lunch with Dr. Loboda (Geographical Sciences)

Dear Students,

On behalf of the Dean’s Student Advisory Council please see the invitation below to a Brown Bag lunch with Dr. Loboda on November 22, 2013 from 1:30-3:00PM in 2113 Chincoteague Hall.

Are you a Geography major or planning to major in Geography? Do you have an interest in learning more about the research being done on campus and how you can get involved? Would you like to get to know professors from the department better? If so, you’re in luck! The Dean’s Student Advisory Council is sponsoring a brown bag lunch with Dr. Loboda on Friday, November 22nd from 1:30 – 3:00 pm.

Dr. Loboda teaches climatology and programming for geographers, and her research interests include boreal forest and tundra biomes, socio-economic and environmental factors on wild land fire occurrences, and the impact of climate change on the arctic.
