Rainbow Terrapin Network Training!!!

The LGBT Equity Center is offering a summer session of the Rainbow Terrapin Network Training. This training covers the fundamentals of allyship and advocacy for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer inclusion on campus. We will discuss social justice, vocabulary and inclusive language, campus issues and resources, and ways you can take action and get involved.

All students, staff, and faculty of UMD are welcome, as well as local community members. This is a voluntary training and only those who wish to attend should register. Participants are expected to attend the entire training.

WHEN - Thursday July 7th, 2013
TIME - 1:00pm-4:00pm
Where - 6137 McKeldin Library (Special Events Room)

SIGN UP TODAY - http://rtnsummer2013.eventbrite.com/

It is important that you also email the Graduate Program Coordinator should you need to drop your training for any reason. Cancellations with less than 7 full days of notice prior to a training make it nearly impossible for us to fill the seat with another person.
