Rutger's Summer Research Program

RUTGERS, The State University of New Jersey, is pleased to invite talented students to apply for our highly successful SUMMER RESEARCH PROGRAM, RiSE (Research in Science and Engineering). Sophomores, juniors, and first-semester seniors who have strong academic credentials, a passion for research, and an interest in future graduate study should apply.

Students will benefit from:
  • CUTTING EDGE RESEARCH in the biological, physical & social/behavioral sciences, math, and engineering. In the BIOMEDICAL SCIENCES, students can choose from among 200 labs, including the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and the Cancer Institute of New Jersey.
  • PARTNERSHIPS with REU programs: Green Energy Technology, Cellular Bioengineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences/Engineering, Physics & Astronomy, and Environmental Sciences. By applying to RiSE, students are automatically also considered for partner programs.
