Are you interested in visiting the innovation hotbeds of San Francisco/Silicon Valley and the Pacific Northwest (Seattle/Portland) and experiencing a unique opportunity to engage first hand with some of the most innovative companies in the world? If so, consider participating in the Innovation and Immersion Experience Course, which provides you with unique insights, views into trends and developments, and multiple networking opportunities.
Students participating in the past innovation three-credit courses were exposed to large organizations such as Cisco, Genentech, Amazon, Facebook, Google, Pixar, Yammer, LinkedIn, Tesla Motors, Zynga, Electronic Arts, Salesforce.com, Intel, Nike, Adidas, Microsoft, and Boeing. Students have also been exposed to venture capital funds such as Greylock Partners and Mayfield Fund.
The course will tentatively start on August 17th (arrival) and end on August 26th or 27th. The program fee is estimated at $1,400-$1,500 and includes hotel accommodations (three to four people per room), charges for all academic site visits, fees, field trips, and other program-sponsored excursions, transportation to all visits, one or two meals per day (lunches or dinner), and course reading materials.
