Fall Internships with Ashoka

Ashoka Innovators for the Public, a non-profit working in the field of social entrepreneurship, has openings for 30 interns this fall in their global office near the Rosslyn metro station.  They seek creative, entrepreneurial and versatile students with excellent written and oral communication skills for positions ranging from project development to quantitative metric analysis.  Examples of positions include:

  • Graphic Design interns have the specific opportunity to help contribute to the visual brand of a dynamic non-profit organization that is a pioneer in the sphere of social innovation. Past graphic design interns have specifically worked on anything from contributing to website design to developing layouts for promotional materials.
  • Finance interns have the opportunity to support the financial efforts within a dynamic non-profit organization that is a pioneer in the sphere of social innovation. Past finance interns have specifically worked on country reports, cash requests and general financial analysis. 

Each intern is paired with an Ashoka staff member who oversees their work and serves as a mentor.  The positions are unpaid, but may qualify for academic credit in a BSOS internship or departmental internship course.  A commitment of approximately 20 hours a week from early September to late November is expected.
