OUT for Work: LGBTQA College Student Career Conference

Don't miss the 10th Annual National Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer & Ally (LGBTQA) College Student Career Conference scheduled for September 26-28, 2014 at the Washington Plaza Hotel in Washington, DC. This conference will feature panel discussions about sexual orientation, gender identity and coming out in the workplace, skill building workshops and guest speakers, including John Berry, Donna Rose, Jonathan Capehart, Joe Solmonese, Gary Gates, Chai Feldblum and many more! Read more about the conference agenda here
The University Career Center & The President’s Promise and the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transgender (LGBT) Equity Center are proud to announce that we will again partner with OUT For Work to sponsor University of Maryland LGBTQA students to attend the conference. As a partner, the University of Maryland has a limited number of spaces for students to participate FREE OF CHARGE. This includes conference materials and meals. The normal fee is $55.
NO SHOW POLICY: This event is FREE for University of Maryland College Park students while space remains; however, since space is limited, and the UMD co-sponsoring departments are paying to sponsor each participant registration, if you fail to check-in at the conference, the University of Maryland will have to charge your UMD student account $55 (the normal registration price for an individual student).
