Internships are full-time (40 hours per week) or part-time (20-30 hours per week) unpaid opportunities intended to complement a student’s current program of study at the University of Maryland. Upon acceptance into the program, interns develop a personalized schedule with their program manager based on their availability.
Applicants must be currently enrolled juniors or seniors in undergraduate programs, Master's candidates, or have completed a degree within the past two years. All candidates should be expert problem solvers, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, comfortable using Microsoft Excel, and have strong writing and analytic skills. Potential opportunities include:
- Program Management, Capacity Building Programs (Domestic and International)
- Consulting--candidates with research and analysis experience, including a strong working knowledge of Excel and non-profit financials documents (990s)
- Research and Evaluation, Training Programs--candidates with a strong working knowledge of Excel and non-profit financials documents (990s)
