America Reads*America Counts Spring 2015 Application

America Reads*America Counts, which is part of the Adele H. Stamp Student Union, is a mentoring/tutoring program where nearly 300 UMD students work weekly to improve the literacy and math skills of Prince George’s County elementary school students.

We are currently seeking dedicated and enthusiastic college students who love working with kids and want to give back to their community. America Reads*America Counts is a great way to meet new friends on campus, develop essential leadership skills, and gain valuable resume-building experience!

Students can volunteer, receive academic or internship credit, or, if eligible for Federal Work Study, can be paid to work with our program!

Visit http://www.arac.umd.edu to learn more and to apply.

Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis until January 28th at 5pm.
