Beinecke Scholarship for Graduate Study

Are you a planning to pursue graduate study in the arts, humanities, or social studies and have an outstanding academic record?

The Beinecke Scholarship Program provides graduate study scholarships in the humanities and social sciences to Juniors of exceptional ability who have a high degree of financial need.

Each scholar receives $4,000 immediately prior to entering graduate school and an additional $30,000 while attending graduate school.

Candidates for the Beinecke Scholarship must be nominated by their university or college – the University of Maryland, College Park can nominate 1 outstanding junior annually to compete for a Beinecke Scholarship. To seek nomination, candidates must submit a complete draft of a Beinecke Scholarship application byJanuary 23, 2015.
