Paid Marketing & Business Development Internship

Marketing & Business Development Internship
 
AI is seeking an intern in Washington DC to assist in marketing and business development activities.
 
Responsibilities: Support in developing and implementing marketing and business development strategies; tracking and reporting the results of marketing and business development activities; planning and implementing online and offline outreach efforts; writing for the website & blog; growing AI's social media presence; researching potential projects, funding opportunities, and partners; coordinating special events; project management; and any other tasks as assigned.
 
Qualifications: Should be strongly self-motivated and highly organized with beyond excellent communication skills. Previous internship or work study experience required. New media skills, with experience in blogging and social media, are a must. International exposure desirable. Perfectionism and attention to detail are critical. Should be able to follow guidance or forge new paths with the same zeal. Willing to undertake international travel if needed. Adventurous, fun, and a taste for trying different cuisines of DC will be considered a major plus.
 
AI is a virtual company, so hours and location are flexible, except when meetings and events in the Washington DC region call for a physical presence. This is a paid 12-week internship (20-30 hours per week), ideal for seniors, graduate students, or recent graduates. Academic credit may be considered for qualified candidates. Depending on performance and AI's needs, there is a possibility of extension and/or a part-time or full-time position.
