This webinar is for current and recently graduated students seeking information about internships, fellowships, and professional opportunities with the Department of State. It will be moderated by Diplomat in Residence Terry Davidson, who will give an inside look at student programs and opportunities available with the Department of State. The webinar will last about an hour, and will include opportunities to ask questions
Diplomats in Residence (DIRs) are career Foreign Service Officers who are located throughout the United States and responsible for providing guidance and advice to students, professionals and the community about Department of State careers. DIRs are available to answer questions and share insight with those interested in Foreign and Civil Service careers, internships and fellowships.
As a Diplomat in Residence, Terry reaches out to diverse candidates to provide information on pathways to the Foreign Service and Civil Service. He is one of 16 Diplomats in Residence based on campuses across the United States. Terry has worked on cultural affairs and press outreach for most of his 27-year Foreign Service career, serving in Mexico City, Rangoon, Bogota, Quito, Brasilia, Baku and Washington, D.C. Following his current assignment in Washington, he will be posted to Kabul, Afghanistan. Click here to register.
