The PSYC319 Team “Help Kids Be Kids” was selected as a finalist in the Do Good Challenge at the University of Maryland. The team has “proved to be one of the most exciting, innovative and creative groups of changemakers at the University of Maryland” and now has the opportunity to win up to $7,500 for the children at the Family Crisis Center.
The finals event will be held on Tuesday, April 28th from 7:00 until 9:00pm at the Riggs Alumni Center at the University of Maryland. The team will present a five-minute pitch of our efforts during the Do Good Challenge, followed by judge comments and questions. After presentations by the six finalists, the judges will decide on the rankings for both the ventures and projects awards, while the audience votes for the People’s Choice Award.
