Program Assistant Position with Synergy Enterprises

Synergy Enterprises, Inc, a minority and woman owned government contractor located in Silver Spring, MD, is hiring a Program Assistant. This role will report directly to the PD and perform administrative and logistical support of the contract tasks.

Primary Responsibilities
• Assist program coordinator in the Prevention Fellowship Program recruitment and marketing strategies
• Process bi-monthly stipend invoices for fellows and interns
• Coordinate small-to medium-sized meetings
• Coordinate logistical support (reimbursements, lodging, travel, etc.).
• Create and process forms for registration, reimbursement, honoraria, evaluations, and other forms as needed.
• Provide administrative support for general operations and project management (i.e. filing and budget tracking)
• Assist PD in writing required reports
• Correspond with attendees via phone, email, fax, Federal Express, and U.S. mail
• Prepare weekly deliverables report for team


• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Microsoft Office proficiency required: knowledge of MS Access preferred.
• Outstanding ability to multi-task and work well under pressure, managing several assignments with tight deadlines.
• Strong team player and self-motivator with excellent customer service skills.
• Excellent problem solving, leadership, and communication skills.
• Dedicated, determined, and detail-oriented.
