Part-Time Paid Accessibility Compliance and Consulting Internship

Steven Winter Associates, Inc. is seeking an intern to provide business development support to our Accessibility Compliance and Consulting Group. The ideal candidate has excellent writing skills, is detail-oriented and self-motivated, and has a demonstrable interest in accessible design, sustainability, energy-efficiency, or similar disciplines.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Maintain administrative files and organize product directories, contact lists, schedule of events, grant and funding opportunities, etc.
  • Assist with preparing marketing materials, articles, case studies, blog posts, etc.
  • Support training and outreach efforts by printing materials, tabulating evaluations, tracking attendees, etc.
  • Contribute to select social media channels (e.g., Twitter, LinkedIN, Facebook)
  • Assist with graphic design projects using Adobe Creative Suite
  • Seek out and identify potential grant and other funding opportunities
  • Assist with other activities when needed

Potential long term opportunity available for the right fit. Educational background or professional experience related to communications, business, marketing, public policy, or a closely related field is preferred; familiarity with architecture, urban planning, design and construction, or a related field is a plus.
