DNC Human Resources Associate Position for Recent Grad

The Human Resources Associate assists with the administration of the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources Department. This position carries out responsibilities in some or all of the following functional areas: HRIS, employee relations, training and development, benefits, payroll.
Responsibilities:
  • Assists with employee relations matters
  • Assists with event planning
  • Prepares and maintains reports and records that are necessary to carry out HR functions
  • Assists the HR Director with various research projects and/or special projects
  • Enter new hires into the HR system, and tracks employees benefits
  • Processes mail and tracks invoices for approval
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements and Skills:
  • Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
  • Good customer service skills
  • Outstanding attitude towards external and internal clients
  • Sense of urgency
  • Good organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
  • Consistently demonstrate ability to respond to changing situations in a flexible manner in order to meet current needs, such as reprioritizing work as necessary
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Must be able to manage priorities and multi-task
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, tact, diplomacy and the ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to be responsive and develop strong professional relationships with the business
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office
