Internships with the Earth Day Network (Fall or Spring)

Earth Day Network (EDN) is a driving force steering environmental awareness around the world. EDN's network reaches over 50,000 organizations in 192 countries, while the domestic program engages 10,000 groups and over 40,000 educators coordinating millions of community development and environmental protection activities throughout the year.

EDN's mission is to grow and diversify the environmental movement worldwide, and to mobilize it as the most effective vehicle for promoting a healthy, sustainable planet. They pursue their mission through education, politics, events, and consumer activism.

In addition to working closely with specific departments and having leadership roles, interns will have the opportunity to play a vital role in the planning and implementation of Earth Day Events on the National Mall in April. All interns also contribute to EDN’s blog on topics ranging from education and technology to renewable energy and international issues.

Please note, all internships are unpaid; however, Metro fare of $5 daily is included, and college credit may be available.

Internships are available in several different areas, including:

  • Communications
  • Department
  • Development
  • Earth Day
  • Education
  • General
  • International

Find out more about each internship and how to apply at the EDN web site.
