Education Abroad is now accepting applications for Global Service in the Dominican Republic, a high-energy and engaging study abroad program that takes place during Winter Break (January 4-15, 2016) http://ter.ps/wtdr.
As part of the program, you’ll have an opportunity to take part in seminars that focus on various aspects of Dominican life, including: history, music, dance, food, and Dominican/Haitian relations.

Global Service in the Dominican Republic is cross-listed with Latin American Studies (BSGC338D/LASC369R) and has been approved for the Diversity and Cultural Competency General Education requirement. It is also approved as a Global Poverty Minor elective. Intermediate-level Spanish recommended but not required.
