UMD Intercollegiate Ethics Bowl

Should 17-year-old Cassandra be forced against her will to have chemotherapy to treat her terminal cancer?

Is the environmentally-friendly practice of composting corpses ethical, even when it conflicts with legal and religious standards?

If you love analyzing these contemporary moral questions, have an interest in philosophy or law, or want to practice your debate skills, the UMD Ethics Bowl Team might be for you!
We represent our school in intercollegiate competitions that push us to consider every side of ethical dilemmas. Students of any major are welcome to try out, and may participate as competing or non-competing members.

Come find out more at our interest meeting at 8pm on September 28th in 2119 Talliaferro Hall or email kim.sean.j@gmail.com for more info!
