Paid CSIS Spring Asia Maritime Transparency Initiative Internship

The Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) provides strategic insights and policy solutions for decision-makers in government, international institutions, the private sector, and civil society. A bipartisan, nonprofit organization headquartered in Washington, DC, CSIS conducts research and analysis and develops policy initiatives that look into the future and anticipate change.

The Asia Maritime Transparency Initiative (AMTI) at CSIS provides a platform for information, analysis, and policy exchange on maritime security issues in the Asia Pacific. AMTI aims to promote transparency to cut through misinformation, dissuade assertive behavior, and promote solutions to Asia’s maritime dispute. The AMTI website combines engaging multimedia products and high-level analysis to provide an accessible, one stop shop for information about maritime Asia.

CSIS offers full and part-time internships for undergraduates, graduate students, and recent graduates who are interested in gaining practical experience in public policy. The internship with the Southeast Asia program is part-time, and paid.
