Internship project background and aims:
Intern will learn about international development donors and how business development teams engage with donors and represent our work.
Benefit to Intern:
Practical training and experience in business development. Exposure to international global health and development.
Contribute to the development of donor profiles. Coordinate cross-PATH participation in donor engagement consultations.
Skills to be developed and/or expanded during internship:
Writing, editing and research skills; business development and proposal budgeting processes; business strategy; project management skills.
Research PATH current and potential donors in cost and compliance issues and create cost and compliance donor comparison matrix. Schedule and manage consultations and research donors to create five donor profiles. Maintain a knowledge management platform on SharePoint. Complete ad hoc projects as needed.
Learning outcomes (how the Intern’s performance will be evaluated):
The intern’s performance with be evaluated based on various deliverables that they will be asked to complete during the internship. These deliverables will include, but not be limited to: providing research when asked; scheduling meetings, taking notes, and distributing meeting notes to all parties; and maintaining a knowledge management SharePoint site for the donor profiles.
Is a stipend available? Yes, $1000 per month.
