Paid Summer Research Internships! Apply by February 24!

The National Socio-Environmental Synthesis Center (SESYNC) is now accepting applications for undergraduate interns for the 2016 SESYNC Undergraduate Summer Internship Program.  Students are paired with on-campus researchers and work in their lab as interns for the summer.

The goals of the program are to:

  • Provide students with a research or work experience that contributes towards the research or program goals of the mentors.
  • Enhance student understanding of the complex nature of socially relevant environmental problems.
  • Introduce students to research approaches, particularly the synthesis approach, used to address socio-environmental problems.
  • Enhance student understanding of how scientific evidence may be used to inform decision making and policy with regard to environmental problems.

Internship positions are full-time (40 hours/week) from June 6–August 12, 2016. Interns will be paid $11/hour by SESYNC.
