ESOL Conversation Back and Enrolling Students and Volunteers!

The UMD ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) Conversation Program is a student centered community that specifically aims to bring students and community members from diverse cultures together through authentic language learning/teaching, cultural exchange, and social activities.
Participants will be meeting with fluent English-speaking volunteers on campus for an hour weekly to practice their oral English skills through discussions on various topics and other activities planned by the volunteer.
The program is free to any and all UMD students, faculty, and staff and their spouses!
