Paid Social Media & Administrative Internship with TaKorean
SUMMARY: TaKorean is seeking a part-time intern to assist the Community Manager with an array of marketing, branding and administrative tasks. We are looking for a passionate, creative and motivated team player to help maintain and build our social channels. TaKorean is a DC based fast casual restaurant chain that started as a food truck in 2010 and has since expanded to three fixed locations. The company is growing fast and needs energetic, creative minds to join the team.
Assist in curating content and collaborate in determining what, how and when to share it on social channels to grow followers, increase engagement and raise traffic to website
Ensure all social content is on-brand, consistent in style, quality, and tone of voice
Report weekly/monthly on network audience size, engagement and other KPIs
Research and present the latest social media apps, platforms, trends, and tools
Experiment with and explore emerging social media platforms
Research and provide a cost benefit analysis for new graphics and products
Organizational office projects as needed. Learn first hand how a small but rapidly growing business makes administrative changes.
Knowledge and comfort of social media publishing. Experience with analytics tools a plus.
Interest in seeking out new content and recognizing which stories will build audience engagement
Flexibility and ability to respond quickly to new events or information
Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Self-motivated and able to independently structure and manage workflow and priorities
Extremely creative and artistically inclined
Flexibility to work on projects in different departments or specializations as needed
1-3 years of experience with digital or social media marketing
Bachelors Degree or enrolled in college
Passion for the company and the food industry
Passion for engaging in social media and thinking creatively about new ways to use the medium
