Program Associate Position for Recent Grad with the International Foundation for Electoral Systems

Project Description:
The Program Associate position will support projects in the Asia-Pacific region. 
Job Responsibilities:
  • Reviews and submits field expense reports to supervisor for approval
  • Generates financial tracking and budget reports
  • Supports recruitment and mobilization of consultants for field assignments
  • Maintains project records and documents, including consultant contracts
  • Conducts basic research and provides general support in proposal development process
  • Prepares and assembles briefing materials as directed
  • Plans and expedites airline, hotel, and visa arrangements
  • Photocopies, faxes, mails, files, scans documents, etc.
  • Maintains calendar of events and coordinates efforts with Events Planning Team
  • Provides targeted assistance on special projects and assignments
  • May travel, on limited basis, to field in support of project activities
  • Attends meetings at request of supervisor to gather and share information with colleagues
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 0 - 2 years’ relevant experience in international development or related field. Internship(s) experience with an international NGO a plus.
  • Experienced with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint required. 
  • Introductory experience in proposal development support a plus.  
  • Familiarity with USAID regulations helpful. 
  • Detailed oriented and organized. 
  • Ability to prioritize, take direction, and handle varied tasks within deadlines. 
  • Strong communicator, both verbally and in writing.
  • Collaborative, team oriented individual
  • English required. Proficiency in a foreign language may be useful for specific projects.
