Polaris Summer 2016 Fellowship Program

The Polaris Fellowship Program is a formalized leadership development program focused on training future leaders to serve in the anti-trafficking movement and other related fields. Based primarily out of Polaris's Washington, D.C. headquarters office, this program is integrated into all of our programmatic and operational departments to offer fellows the maximum amount of opportunities.

Fellows also participate in our local client services office in Washington, D.C. The Fellowship Program is nationally recognized as one of the premiere leadership development programs exclusively focused on the issue of human trafficking and on providing young professionals with training and on-the-ground practical experiences in the anti-trafficking movement. After participating in an intensive training and orientation process, fellows engage in meaningful projects and continuing education and professional development activities.

Since the fellowship program's inception in Spring 2003, more than 500 fellows have completed the Fellowship Program, many of whom have gone on to fill important roles in the anti-trafficking movement and other related fields.

At Polaris, our fellows have the opportunity to make a daily impact towards ending human trafficking. Polaris offers a wide variety of fellowship positions with a focus on teaching our leaders of tomorrow how to combat the issue of human trafficking. Whether it's helping on the national human trafficking hotline or working side by side with our operations team on nonprofit management, our fellows gain a wide variety of skills where they are given the opportunity to learn and flourish.
