Summer Internships with the Office of the Historian of the U.S. House of Representatives!

The Office of the Historian at the U.S. House of Representatives has internship positions available for Summer 2016.  Applicants for this unpaid internship should have a strong interest in history. Responsibilities include assistance in day-to-day office operations, significant historical research, and other special projects as assigned.  Interns must be highly motivated, collaborative, and possess excellent research and computer skills.  Proposed starting date: June 2016.  End date: August 2016.

Interested applicants should email a cover letter, resume, and brief writing sample (no more than five pages, PDF preferred) to history @mail.house.gov.  Please include "Internship Summer 2016" in the subject line of the email.
