May or Recent Grad with Security Clearance? Program Assistant Position with Jefferson Consulting Group

Jefferson Consulting Group, a small government consulting firm seeks a highly qualified individual to serve as a Program Assistant to work with government services division on a USAID procurement support contract.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Completes minor acquisition/assistance actions and provides support as a team member on larger, more complex acquisitions for USAID.
  • Develop acquisition/assistance documentation, including requirements documents, source selection documents and negotiation memoranda for review by superiors.
  • Publish Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and New Funding Opportunities (NFOs).
  • Analyze proposals, applications, and/or quotes received.
  • Conduct cost analysis of minor acquisitions and grants/cooperative agreements.
  • Review contracts, agreements, grants and award modifications.
  • Create, manage and analyze budgets.
  • Support award closeouts.
  • Maintain contract and agreement files.
  • Research, monitor, track, analyze and report on topics of interest.
  • Draft or edit sections of reports or proposals.
  • Attend and summarize meetings.
  • Provide scheduling and meeting management support.
  • Other job related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Holds a SECRET security clearance or able to obtain a SECRET clearance
  • Ability to handle effectively and concurrently multiple tasks and projects
  • Excellent anticipatory skills and proactive approach to work
  • Strong oral, interpersonal, and written communication skills
  • Strong prioritization and organization skills to meet deadlines
  • Positive and professional attitude and demeanor
  • Detail-oriented and interested in producing quality work product
  • Good computer literacy skills
  • USAID, implementing partner or other international development experience is preferred
