Paid Summer HR Internship with IREX

IREX seeks a Human Resources intern to provide administrative support and manage some fundamental Human Resources tasks.  This is a full-time position (approximately 40 hours per week) from June to August 2016. This is an excellent opportunity for hands-on human resources experience and learning through involvement in a highly impactful, global non-profit organization.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
This position will provide assistance including:
  • Scanning personnel documents as an initial step towards becoming a paperless company
  • Addressing project-based tasks associated with implementing a company-wide reorganization
  • Being point of contact on some day-to-day HR needs
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
  • Some office/professional experience preferred
  • Professional manner and sense of discretion
  • Excellent oral & written communication skills
  • Attention to detail a must
  • Strong interpersonal skills (friendly, helpful, courteous)
  • Experience and working knowledge of Microsoft Word, and some Excel
  • Associates degree or current student preferred
