Gatherings in Response to Recent Tragedies
July 13 &14, 2016

In light of the recent horrific tragedies this week and over the last few weeks, there are a few resources we want to call to your attention in the University of Maryland community.

The Counseling Center has walk-in visits available for community members who need support.

A SPACE TO BE

This gathering is grounded in offering you a chance to be in community with others while thinking about what you are doing for yourself and what you are doing with others during this difficult time. We will begin at 4pm by doing some grounding meditation work and have opportunities to connect and support each other based on identity. Co-sponsored and co-facilitated by the Office of Diversity & Inclusion and the Counseling Center. Questions? Contact Jacki Mac at jmac507@umd.edu or Domonic Rollins atrollins1@umd.edu.
