The 2U Marketing team is looking for a Digital Media Intern for Fall 2016. Candidates for this position should have an existing interest or experience in digital media, in particular paid advertising. The position will work within the Digital Media Strategy team and will combine management of digital media campaigns, along with the analysis and optimization of these campaigns. A desirable candidate would include those with the desire to use this experience as a springboard into a full time Digital Marketing position upon graduation.
Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:
Assistance with the development of audience targeting parameters
Leveraging existing knowledge or program audiences, as well as exploration of new and untapped audiences
Prospecting of new vendors and relationships in line with audience targets
Assistance on daily management of paid social (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook) campaigns
Developing copy in line with brand voice
Execution and implementation of new paid social campaigns
Weekly and monthly media performance analysis and reporting
Reports will tie together data from multiple tools and reports looking at trends in response rates, device usage, geography, etc.
Support development of creative analysis and optimization recommendations
Utilizing image and copy variations, focusing on structured A/B tests
Things That Should Be in Your Background:
Must be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program
Ability to work both independently and in a highly collaborative team environment
Prior internship experience desired
Strong Excel skills
General knowledge of online marketing
Google Analytics, Google Adwords, and Paid Social Platform experience a plus
Marketing, business, finance, or economics major preferred
Ability to juggle multiple competing priorities
Ability to work with a diverse team in a fast-paced environment
