The Gilman International Scholarship provides grants for U.S. undergraduate students who are receiving Federal Pell Grant funding at a two-year or four-year college or university to participate in study abroad programs worldwide.
The U.S. Department of State’s Gilman International Scholarship Program application for students studying or interning abroad during the spring 2017 and summer 2017 terms is available online.
Student application deadline:
For an application to be complete, students will need to have their application certified online by a study abroad advisor and a financial aid advisor. Apply well before the deadline as late applications will not be accepted. Spring applicants will be notified of their status November 2016, and summer applicants will be notified of their status late February 2017.
