Intern for a Day: Sign up for an Orientation Session!


Intern for a Day connects undergraduate students with alumni, parents, employers and community partners for one day internship/shadowing experiences. During the 2015-2016 academic year, we placed nearly 800 Terps with shadowing opportunities in a wide variety of fields and industries!

In order to receive an application to participate in Intern for a Day, you must attend an informative, 30-minute orientation session that will cover the application process, how you will be matched with a host, best practices when shadowing your host on-site, and how to show appreciation to your host after your experience.

All orientations will take place the first week in October. Please click on the date and time that works best with your schedule in order to RSVP. All orientation sessions will take place in the University Career Center & The President's Promise (3100 Hornbake Library, South Wing).

The application will be due Sunday, October 9 at 11:59pm. Students will receive the application after attending an orientation session.
