Navy Athletic Development Study Internship Program

The Navy Sports Athletic Development Team offers a spring internship. The internship is designed to approximate the spring academic semester and run from January to May. This internship will give you broad-based exposure to many facets of the complex and rewarding field of intercollegiate athletic development. Our goal is to provide interns with concrete skills, meaningful work experience and substantive work product that will benefit them in their pursuit of a career in intercollegiate athletic development.

This unique internship consists of three basic elements: event management, operational and administrative support and a capstone research project.

· Assist in event management for two primary stewardship events - Golf Classic and Head Coaches Dinner
· Assist the Athletic Development Team in the creation/implementation of programming.
· Lead an independent research effort on a mutually agreed upon topic that will benefit the industry and Navy athletics development.
· Other daily assignments as administered and assigned by the Athletic Development Team.
