Summer Internship: Student Advertising Coordinator (Paid)

We are looking for…
Outgoing, active students or recent grads with good verbal communication skills able to bring the collegiate experience to life for our clients! Seeking Students who are responsible, confident, goal oriented, socially outgoing, hard working, and interested in learning about advertising/media/marketing/business & communications.

• The position requires coordinating our long-running University based Advertising/Media campaigns.
• Campaigns - Work with us to coordinate our annual and seasonal campaigns! These include both custom and cooperative; promo events, promo publications, and online initiatives. Educate and befriend our clients on what students are ‘up too’!
• Main Campaign - The first campaign involves coordinating our ‘Wipe Away Planner Board’ – a no-cost poster sized promotional dry-erase organizer/calendar/planner that is circulated at no cost to students each semester. (It’s commonly posted up on dorm room doors and above desks). Features include: message area, calendar, to do list, and a local student business/organization directory along the perimeter. During this campaign we plan the next project.
• Knowledge – Utilize your real collegiate knowledge of ‘student habits’, lifestyle, & trends to excite our local clients/sponsors.
• Administrative - duties include the following: providing daily reports, emailing, forms, timely account follow-ups, & customer service.
• Training – We provide FULL training and friendly management to answer and guide our precious Coordinators towards success.
• Meet ups – Setup quick chats and meetings with our current and new clients
• Creative – artists not required. Provide clients with a good student’s perspective regarding their business’s advertisement design and promotional message for our campaigns.
• Professional – Our Coordinators are expected to understand that their role requires a strong work ethic, outlook.
1. Enrolled in University or college, or recently graduated.
2. Strong command of English language.
3. Access to telephone and email.
4. Access to a vehicle is a major tool, but not required.
