Communications Coordinator with the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace (Full-Time Job)
The Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, a unique global network of policy research centers in Russia, China, Europe, the Middle East, India, and the United States, is seeking a detail-oriented communications coordinator to join its communications team in Washington.
The communications coordinator will assist with all aspects of communications. Responsibilities will include drafting, editing, and sending emails, liaising with Carnegie scholars on timelines for publication rollouts, updating Carnegie’s media and general contact databases, and monitoring internal events and external news hooks to aid in short- and long-term planning. Position will support weekly planning and meetings, website postings, event preparation and logistics, social media, and all other outreach efforts.
Minimum one year of relevant experience required. The ideal candidate should be organized with excellent attention to detail, possess strong computer skills, and be able to work independently to solve problems and complete projects quickly without sacrificing quality and accuracy. Strong writing and editing skills, as well as an in-depth knowledge of and interest in foreign policy issues, are essential. Knowledge of HTML and Dreamweaver a plus.
