Full-Time Research Position

Ford Marsh Group LLC (FMG) is an applied research firm located in Northern Virginia. FMG is seeking an intelligent, motivated, and experienced researcher to join our organizational research team. This job is best suited for an individual with a solid research background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a keen attention to detail. The ideal candidate also continuously strives to learn and develop and enjoys working in a highly collaborative environment.

Responsibilities include:
-Contributing to the successful execution of a variety of research projects.
-Conducting univariate and multivariate analyses.
-Contributing to written reports and professional briefings that summarize research findings.
-Communicating clearly and professionally with clients in order to understand and meet their needs.
-Conducting quality control of own and others’ work.

-Bachelors (Masters preferred) in psychology, organizational behavior, or a related field.
-Two years of academic and/or applied research experience.
-Training in quantitative research methods. Familiarity with qualitative methods a plus.
-Willingness and ability to learn new research methods and/or content areas.
-Strong verbal and written communication skills.
-Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively.
-Proficiency in at least one statistical analysis software package (Stata preferred).
-Applicants may be subject to a low-level government security investigation and must meet eligibility criteria for access to sensitive information.
