Quince Orchard Psychotherapy is seeking an undergrad or grad student majoring in Psychology to assist a clinical psychologist looking to develop a test anxiety workshop for high school and college students.
Duties include: Compile and review book chapters, web content, and formal research articles about effective approaches to treating test anxiety and contribute to developing a curriculum for a pilot test anxiety workshop with a free seminar for UMD students. Develop and implement a pre-workshop baseline test anxiety measure, a survey to be completed at the conclusion of the workshop, and a follow up survey to send to participants one month after the workshop to determine which strategies were most useful.
Qualifications: Interest in Psychology. Seeking a student who is independent (as most work will be done remotely) yet detail-oriented and analytical.
The assistant will receive a $1,000 stipend for the semester.
