Asharq al-Awsat is an Arabic international newspaper headquartered in London. Asharq Al-Awsat covers events through a network of bureaus and correspondents throughout the Arab World, Europe, United States, and Asia. The Asharq Al-Awsat intern supports journalists and reporters by conducting political research, reaching out to congress members and U.S. officials to set up interviews and preparing questions for said interviews, shadowing reporters, taking videos, preparing for roundtable discussions with researchers and replying to emails. Interns should come to the office twice a week. will work on a wide variety assignments such as assigning with press conference, story coverage, researching and providing information for new articles as well as setting up interviews are researching the interviewee.
- Undergraduate students pursuing degrees
in journalism, government and
politics, Middle Eastern studies, communication, or a related field.
- Able to work in the country you are
