Internships & Research Positions with the Center for American Politics and Citizenship (CAPC)

CAPC Internship ProgramThe CAPC internship program enables students to receive course credit for their internship experience. The program is a one-semester, two-course program in which students will develop an understanding of how their internship connects to the greater policy and governing process. The program is open to GVPT majors who have a minimum of 60 credit hours and a minimum 3.0 GPA. CAPC Research Assistant ProgramThe CAPC research assistant program provides students with the opportunity to develop their research and analytical skills by working closely with a faculty member. Students will help the faculty member with their research throughout the semester and will also develop their own unique research project. The program is open to students who have a minimum of 56 credit hours and a minimum 3.0 GPA.
