Sales Support and Market Research Analyst (Full-Time)

ABS is looking for a multifaceted Sales Support Analyst. You’ll be a primary point of contact for a 
- Conduct internet variety of internal and external stakeholders. Your primary focus will be to support the ABS Sales team, our Market Research Group as well as occasional assistance to the Marketing, Regulatory, Business Development and Executive Management Teams.

Critical Responsibilities
- Work cross functionally to support Global Sales and Market Research Organizations; additionally support management in building reports/analyses to analyze the company’s sales strategy
- Proactively support the maintenance and management of Sales Accounts and Contacts using CRM system and Excel
- Help maintain and update company rate card – provide internal and external pricing analyses
- Research and validate corporate family tree linkages, business status & other critical account data to ensure accurate sales information research to validate and enrich sales data
- Data cleansing initiatives to reduce duplicates and other erroneous information in CRM
- Working knowledge of key business metrics and an understanding of Income & Cash Flow Statements
- Working knowledge of creating business cases and IRR models
- Creative and analytical problem solving abilities – understanding how to leverage external Market Research data for internal planning purposes
- Research prospects and clients using analyst reports, SEC filings, Yahoo! Finance to identify potential new business opportunities
- Track competitive initiatives and performance – produce reports benchmarking ABS vs the competition
- Undergraduate degree in Commerce, Business, Economics, or similar discipline preferred
- Previous satellite industry experience preferred
- Successful applicants will be asked to provide proof that they can legally work in the US

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
§ Strong Excel skills a priority
§ Practical understanding of basic telecommunication networking concepts
§ Solid understanding/interest in media/telecom business segment
§ Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
§ Desire to work in a fast paced entrepreneurial environment

Core Competencies
§ Strong understanding of Excel, PowerPoint and Word
§ Desire to utilize CRM tools
