We are an established Family Law team with multiple attorneys seeking a full-time family law paralegal to add to our existing group. We require someone who is great with people, willing to learn and be part of a team environment, is exceedingly well-organized, pro-active and detail oriented, has excellent follow through skills and is able to multi-task and work independently. Our ideal candidate has a familiarity with Westlaw and legal research, understands the discovery process, can manage calendars, and is capable at drafting basic pleadings. Proficiency in Outlook, Microsoft Word/Excel/ PowerPoint, and Adobe is required.
This position allows for much growth and learning in a team environment. The ideal candidate will deal with clients directly, assist attorneys with active litigation, aid in pursuing and compiling essential case evidence, and become an integral part of our family law legal team. There will be instructions given when necessary but this candidate must also be a dedicated self-starter. Self-motivation is also important as we require a minimum of monthly billable hours. This is a representation of the position responsibilities with additional duties added as needed and warranted.
