Adobe is partnering with Disney Studios to host a "Creative Jam" competition over the weekend of October 18-20. Adobe partner universities are inviting student teams to participate in this national virtual competition. Following a brief online training session on the use of Adobe Premiere Rush (which is among the Adobe tools made available to the UMD community through terpware.umd.edu), teams will respond to a development prompt issued by Disney. Premiere Rush is an all-in-one video editing/production tool that works on desktop and mobile devices.
Many students are already familiar with Adobe Creative Cloud tools use them in innovative ways for course assignments. This is an opportunity for students to work collaboratively, up their creative game a bit, and win monetary prizes (each member of the winning team receives $250 gift certificate and some possible additional Disney incentives).
Details and registration are available at cjam.in/disneyjam.
