UNDERGRADUATE SUMMER INTERN OPPORTUNITIES
The Marriott International Corporate Headquarters (MIHQ) Internship Program offers undergraduate internships in a variety of departments at Marriott International’s Corporate Headquarters in Bethesda, Maryland and limited opportunities in our NY, NY office.

AREAS OF INTEREST Internships are often available in multiple areas. You will be asked to select your top preferences, so we can learn more about your interests. There may or may not be internships available in all disciplines.

INTERN EXPERIENCE Interns will be immersed into an innovative learning environment where they can build skills and gain exposure to the exciting world of hospitality through:
Meaningful, high priority projects
On-the-job training, coaching & support
Collaboration with fellow HQ interns on Marriott’s internal social media platform
Intern specific events, including: an intern orientation, Leadership Speaker Series, networking opportunities, hotel site visits, opportunities to present to senior leaders, and more!
Candidate must be currently enrolled in a college or university degree program at time of application. Note: Preference will be given to candidates currently completing their junior year
Must be available to start on internship cohort start date (June 1)
Previous work/volunteer experience or relevant coursework in identified area(s) of interest
PREFERRED SKILLS + ATTRIBUTES
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Ability to work in group settings and/or independently
Ability to prioritize and multi-task several projects
Demonstrates problem-solving skills
Demonstrates creativity and innovation
RESPONSIBILITIES + REQUIREMENTS

Prepare and review written documents accurately and completely; read and visually verify information in a variety of formats. Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, support team to reach common goals, and listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of employees. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors/Managers.
