Terps Can Continue Classes Online with FREE eTextbooks!

The COVID-19 pandemic has changed the ways we learn, teach, and live in countless ways. Most notably for the University of Maryland community, classes have moved online for the remainder of the semester, and students have been asked to refrain from coming to campus to retrieve belongings—including textbooks and other class materials—from their student housing.

Realizing the disruption and confusion such necessary changes must cause, our partners at the University Book Center in STAMP are offering all UMD students FREE access to eTextbooks through VitalSource for the remainder of the Spring 2020 semester. More information and instructions for accessing the VitalSource database are available at go.umd.edu/virtualbooks

We hope this resource helps to ease students’ transition to this new model of learning, and helps them to feel equipped to meet the challenges of a virtual learning environment.
