Remote Internships with Tedra Cobb (NY-21) for Congress

Tedra Cobb for Congress is seeking remote summer interns. Interns will serve on the frontlines of our grassroots program.

Responsibilities:

● Complete research projects and other work for the Field Team
● Spearhead your own college and community organizing program
● Recruit, train, and manage your own volunteers
● Communicate with in-district volunteers and voters
● Write a weekly memo based on the conversations you’ve had with voters and background research on the issues that they care about
● Work within a team of other interns to write these memos, meet goals, and collaborate

Requirements:

● Weekly commitment of 10 to 15 hours
● Attend a weekly check-in call with the whole intern team
● Appropriate conduct and behavior when representing and working with the campaign
● Attending weekly virtual trainings designed to expose interns to a variety of political campaign departments, skill sets, and career development opportunities

Responsibilities:

● Working directly with our Field Organizers and other fellows
● Communicating with voters and doing volunteer recruitment
● Holding one-on-one meetings with volunteers
● Managing town captains and volunteers for a region
● Willingness to assist with all tasks as needed

Requirements:

● Self-starter and proactive attitude
● Appropriate conduct and behavior when representing and working with the campaign
● Attending weekly virtual trainings designed to expose interns to a variety of political campaign departments, skill sets, and career development opportunities
