Researchers from the Gender Culture and Health Lab are recruiting participants for a study examining LGBTQ+ Asian American experiences and health. Anyone over the age of 18 living in the U.S. who identifies as LGBTQ+ and as an Asian American is eligible to participate in the study, which is approved by UMD’s Institutional Review Board.
Participation involves completing a 20-minute confidential online survey comprising questions covering familial perceptions and reactions to LGBTQ+ identity, experiences of microaggressions, self-esteem relating to racial/ethnic identity, and mental health, among other topics. Participants will receive an entry into a raffle for one of three $50 Visa gift cards for their time.
